Thai Turkey Burgers in Wholemeal Baps

 

Ingredients

  • 500g  pack minced turkey breast
  • 1  bunch spring onions, chopped
  • 2tsp  Thai curry paste
  • 1tbsp  rapeseed oil
  • 2tbsp  low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp  chopped coriander
  • To  serve:
  • 4  wholemeal baps, toasted
  • A little  Salad

This dish provides at least one serving of wholegrain per person and is low in saturated fat, so is great for those of you trying to manage your weight.

10 minutes to prepare  and  10 minutes to cook.

Instructions

  1. Mix together the turkey, spring onions and Thai paste.
  2. Divide and mould into 4 burgers.
  3. Heat the rapeseed oil in a large frying pan and fry the burgers for 10 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and cooked throughout.
  4. Mix the mayonnaise and coriander together and spread over the baps.
  5. Place the burgers in the baps with salad.

Cook's tip:

Really delicious if served with a spoonful of sweet mango chutney on top.
